New Literacies

New Literacies: (as defined by my brain space) Methods and approaches to sharing content that move beyond the physicality of paper and text. This can include interactive web pages that incorporate dialogic mediums of communication across the globe such as blogs. Access to music, movies, pictures and information beyond an encyclopaedia, travel book, record shop etc. The digitisation of multimedia and information opens it up to a  widened audience of sharing and understanding. Yay.
